Muse New Releases for the Sim Opening

SLURL: Muse (147, 147, 24)

Announcing four new releases to commemorate the opening of the new Muse sim. Be sure to stop by for a treasure hunt (with a limited number of prizes) a raffle draw and some free gifts courtesy of the shops in our plaza. Besides Muse packs of the new releases, prizes being given way include items and certificates from Storm Schmooz, Nicky Ree, Tete a Pied, Savvy, Tuli and many more. The sim opens to group members at 12 noon, and the public at 6 pm SLT. Remember that all my jewellery will be 50% OFF from 12:00 nn SLT on Dec. 16th to 6:00pm SLT on Dec. 18th, with the exception of the Chatelaine collection and my new releases. Gift vendors and items in my satellite stores will not be included in the sale.

Delicately crafted of platinum and diamonds, the Celestine collection was created, not just as seasonal jewellery, but as a signature diamond set suitable for evening attire all-year round, with a winter Snowflake variant, and another with a slender dangling pendant (Diamond Frost). Both may be worn interchangeably with the different kinds of earrings in this set. Each necklace contains close to a hundred tiny diamonds, and in certain lighting settings (Windlight) the larger gems give off a subtle glow.

The Marguerite Peacock Feather set is a quirky take on feathered jewelry. The stylised peacock feather is comprised of individual filaments of hammered gold, sapphires, tsavorite garnets, brilliants and amethysts.

The Eclectic Collection was inspired by the fall/winter 2007 jewelry trends of chunky gold accessories and organic shapes. The hand-crafted beaten gold links are accented with diamonds, and either agates, aquamarines, amethysts or tsavorite garnets. The necklace may be worn either on the chest or spine attachment point for easy layering with slimmer necklaces to complete a polished look. A matching sculpted watch bracelet rounds out the collection.

The Margaux Draped Pearl Necklace is a simple six-strand necklace made to simulate a draped pearl rope. The pearls fasten in back with gold or silver clasps. Available in white or black Tahitian pearls.

Muse Raffle Schedule

We will be choosing two random visitors within the sim to receive gifts every hour. If by some chance you already have the item, please let us know so we can arrange for a substitute prize. Good luck!

Muse Updates: NY Gift Box

I feel very honored and pleased to be included in Iris Ophelia’s "10 Second Life Fashion Designers Who Should Get Real" for New World Notes. Muse has been for the most part a labour of love, and it’s gratifying to know that others appreciate the detail and effort that’s gone into my designs. Thank you!

A Muse gift box is available for free at the Fashion Avenue sim for the premiere of the CSI:NY episode on CBS, with a limited edition variant of the Muse Classic Tank Watch in honey-coloured blonde croc, for both men and women, and a gold and freshwater pearl set of two necklaces, a bracelet and earrings. The gift box will be sent out early to the Muse Fine Jewelry group (to join, search for "Muse Fine Jewelry" in groups).

Muse’s entire store inventory is now available on Onrez! View my listings at Muse updates will now be posted to Muse Fine Jewelry on WordPress. Please update your bookmarks; the LJ will continue to mirror the updates until the new blog is added to the Fashion Planet feed. Have a great week, everyone!

Muse Almost Free Gifts

Rather than a new release for this week, as I’m carefully preparing for the Expo on the 15th – I’ve made a few affordably-priced gifts. Freebies? Almost. 🙂

The Ariane rings are based on a design for an engagement ring. The band is accented with brilliants and adorned with a large square diamond. Available in silver and gold, with a tanzanite variant, as well. All in a pack for 10L.

The Simple Drop necklaces are made especially for new players, and may be purchased for 1L.

And if you attended the opening party for Chapeau Tres Mignon, you might have seen the new design I finished yesterday, the Chatelaine, which will be part of a collection to debut at the Expo. Here is a little peek…at least of the side and back view.

The gold version may be seen on the ad for Tete a Pied’s new Vivant Modele skins (I urge you to have a look at these).

Have a good week 🙂

Muse Chinoiserie Fan Collection

I made this set for the Asian Designer Summit along with an as-yet unreleased Blossom Sprig ornament. Inspired by classic Chinese Fan cloisonne earrings, these are crafted from enamelled wood, semi-precious stone beads, wafer-thin gold and gold filigree. Available in four hues – Crimson, Jade, Azure and Onyx. These earrings and necklaces have been assembled by hand. Please click the photos to see the primwork up close 🙂

The Kailena and Kaimana Sea and Shore Collection

Summer is fully upon us, and it wouldn’t be a summer of relaxed style without beach jewelry. Taking a cue from the intricately detailed handcrafted native jewelry of Southeast Asia, I sought to balance natural colours and materials with a sleeker, slightly more streamlined silhouette than your usual beach fare. Whether worn with a white dress at a beach resort or a bikini at the poolside, Kailena will add that touch of summer to your wardrobe. And there’s Kaimana, a simpler, more casual style for the men.

Some of the various styles in this collection.

While the inspiration is Southeast Asian, the names are Hawaiian-influenced, a language well-suited to conveying the beauty and fluidity of the sea.

The Kailena and Kaimana Sea and Shore Collection, available only at Muse.

Muse Claire Ballet Collection

This week’s new release is a tiny pair of ballet slippers on a delicate chain, adorned with a prim ribbon and accented with princess-cut diamonds. The Claire Ballet Collection came about from a desire to make something unexpected and quirkily innovative while retaining the look of Muse jewellery. I wished to make something lighthearted, fun and delicate, with dance or music as the central theme.

Ballet Collection

The necklace comes in four satiny pastel shades:

Three styles of earrings complement the set.

And all can be purchased in a fatpack at a discounted price. The new collection is now available at the Muse main store, at Earthtones, Dos Corazones, Triumph New Designer’s Forum, and Tristan Cove.

I will be releasing a version with a slightly smaller chain to fit child avatars, if you find that these don’t fit yours with a little adjusting 🙂

Also, all sales from the Claire Ballet Necklace in Lilac go to the Relay For Life. 🙂 Don’t forget to keep donating, all help is greatly appreciated!

~Muse~ Gift Vendor: I have found —–. Please pay the vendor L$xxx to have the item delivered to them.
3) Pay the vendor, and voila! You’ll have sent them the gift you paid for.

In other news, I will be opening a new store at Yu Ferraris’ Frontier Hills Japanese sim. Mr. Ferraris is a visionary who wants only the best for Japanese SL residents, and he’s done much to realise his goal of creating a luxury shopping sim. More than a few talented designers are already on the list, so it looks like Frontier Hills will be a premier shopping destination very soon. On my wishlist: a strappy, elegant metallic sandal to go with the spring/summer fashions. I’ve been looking but nothing I’ve seen fits the bill, so the search continues 🙂
